The exciting clip, shared by Alex Lang and reposted by adventurer Marshall Mosher, has garnered over 49,000 views. The footage offers a unique aerial perspective of the adventurous pooch exploring the iconic pyramid.
While paragliding during the SkyOne Egypt Gate 6 paramotoring event, Lang spotted the furry explorer atop the 450-foot structure, which is over 3,800 years old. The dog appeared to be barking at nearby birds, adding a humorous twist to the ancient site.

The video shot to viral fame after Lang posted it on October 14, prompting a flood of reactions across various social media platforms. As he zoomed in for a closer look, viewers were treated to the sight of the dog roaming carefree.
Lang mentioned in a statement to Storyful, “It wasn’t something I expected at all. I just saw some movement and realized it was a dog—barking and chasing birds from the very top.”
Home to 118 ancient pyramids, Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza is among the seven wonders of the world, drawing millions of visitors each year. In 2022 alone, over 11 million tourists explored Egypt, with more than 500,000 arriving from the United States, according to Statista.
