Kamala Harris Responds to Hecklers with Trump Crowd Size Jab

During a rally in Wisconsin on Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris took a light-hearted jab at hecklers, suggesting they might have “meant to go to the smaller one down the street.” Her comment came while she was criticizing former President Donald Trump’s abortion policies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

As reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel‘s Laura Schulte, the hecklers were removed about 20 minutes into Harris’ speech after loudly shouting “Jesus is Lord” to attendees as they exited.

“Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,” Harris remarked, adding a humorous touch with her quip about the nearby event.

Meanwhile, Trump was hosting a town hall event in Philadelphia, which accommodates around 3,000 people. This difference in crowd size has been a recurring topic among Democrats, who have poked fun at Trump’s obsession with attendance numbers.

Harris’s visit to La Crosse was part of a campaign push across Wisconsin, which included an earlier stop at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she faced pro-Palestinian protesters unhappy with her stance on Israel.

The evening culminated at the Resch Expo in Green Bay, where a small group of pro-Trump supporters gathered outside, showcasing flags and a banner featuring Trump following the July 13 assassination attempt.

While Trump was occupied with the annual Al Smith charity dinner in New York, Harris opted out of the event, sending a pre-recorded video message instead.
