Lara Trump, co-chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, recently announced plans to recruit additional lawyers in preparation for the 2024 Presidential election.
Last week, Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, discussed on the Steve Bannon War Room Show the Republicans‘ strategies for the upcoming election and the establishment of an “election authenticity division.” Lara emphasized that the RNC has never had a dedicated team for election integrity and called for 100,000 volunteers to ensure a fair and transparent vote.
The RNC’s decision to form an Election Integrity Division in April came after allegations of election fraud in the 2020 elections, fueled by President Trump’s criticisms. The Party is now focusing on recruiting lawyers to monitor polling stations and act swiftly upon any issues that may arise. Trump is currently facing federal charges for attempting to overturn the 2020 election results, an allegation he denies.
According to Lara Trump, the Republican Party aims to hire record numbers of election integrity workers and observers for the 2024 elections, ensuring a strong presence to monitor the electoral process. The focus remains on a successful election day turnout and accurate vote counting to secure a victory in November.
With Donald Trump as the presumed Republican nominee for President and the upcoming election looking to be a rematch of 2020 against Joe Biden, the need for a robust legal team and election monitoring is critical for the Party’s strategy.
