House Republicans Lauren Boebert and Ginger Gaetz, the wife of Rep. Matt Gaetz, are set to be “special guests” at the Washington D.C. Young Republicans event – the “Hot Girl Summer women’s happy hour” on June 26.
The event will be held at Takoda Navy Yard Rooftop located at 1299 1st Street SE. Guests are requested to arrive by 6 pm ET.
Boebert represents Colorado‘s third congressional District and is now vying for the party’s nomination in the state’s more conservative fourth congressional district in November. Recent polling by Kaplan Strategies has placed her as the clear front-runner in the GOP primary with 40% support.
The Washington D.C. Young Republicans have posted a pink promotional graphic on X – formerly Twitter. The image featured headshots of the three attendees, bikini-clad women outlines, and palm trees. The RSVP attached to the video indicates limited space with a response deadline of June 25.
Jenn Pellegrino, an anchor on Newsmax, and a potential Republican candidate for president, will also be a special guest at the event. Pellegrino recently celebrated her 78th birthday and shared a nostalgic photo of President Donald Trump at a White House press event.
Ginger Gaetz, an AI innovator with a sizable following on X, married Matt Gaetz in 2021. Matt Gaetz, a Florida state representative, has been a prominent Trump supporter.
In a poll conducted by Kaplan Strategies with 343 registered voters, Boebert received a 47% approval rating.
In 2023, Boebert faced controversy after an incident at a production of Beetlejuice, where she was asked to leave the stage for taking photos and vaping. She later apologized for her behavior captured in video footage that surfaced.
Boebert has been in the media spotlight this month and recently appeared for an interview at a Denver radio station KOA.
