Roger Stone Pushes for Prison Time for Trump Cabinet Member: Watch the Video

Roger Stone, a well-known political consultant and former associate of Donald Trump, recently made headlines after being caught on undercover video suggesting that former Attorney General William Barr should go to prison.

This footage, recorded by The Undercurrent in August, was later shared on X (formerly Twitter). The reporter posed as a Republican operative, seeking insights about the election and voting protocols.

Back in 2019, Stone faced serious legal troubles when he was indicted on various charges, including witness tampering and making false statements. Although he was convicted and received a 40-month prison sentence, Trump granted him a pardon right before Christmas in 2020.

In the video, Stone did not hold back his disdain for Barr, stating, “He’s a piece of s***. Trump read a law review article, never checked his background, and made him attorney general. Once we get back in, he has to go to prison, he’s a criminal.”

Stone expressed that his legal issues stemmed from actions taken by the Trump administration, specifically targeting Barr, calling him a “traitorous piece of human garbage.”

Stone also advocated for sending armed guards to voting locations, insisting on a combative approach to counter alleged election theft. “We have to fight it out on a state-by-state basis…when they throw us out of Detroit, you come in with your own armed guards,” he urged.

In 2020, claims circulated among Republicans regarding fraudulent ballots in Detroit, specifically related to the TCF Center. However, extensive audits confirmed no widespread voter fraud in the state, validating Biden’s victory.

Additionally, Stone was featured in another undercover video earlier in March at Mar-a-Lago, emphasizing the need for Republicans to have legal representation ready in case they needed to challenge election outcomes.

Stone later remarked that his statements had been taken out of context, defending the need for legal preparedness to handle any election anomalies.
