Hey there, even the savviest Wordle players hit a tough puzzle at times.
Did you know that Wordle originally stemmed from a lockdown creation for some lockdown fun during COVID-19? It became a global sensation after its public release in October 2021.
Its popularity soared, leading to The New York Times acquiring Wordle in 2022 for a hefty sum, but it’s still free to play on their website or game app.
The game’s simple: guess a five-letter word with six tries. Green tiles show right letters in their places, yellow for right letters in the wrong spots, and gray for incorrect letters.
Wordle enthusiasts aim to crack the word with as few attempts as possible and maintain their winning streak.
“One crucial tip in this game is your starting letter choice. Opt for common vowels like e or a and consonants such as r or t. Avoid starting with less common letters like q, z, j, or x,” Aslan suggested.
“Pay attention to letter patterns too. If a green tile reveals the second letter, say l, and you think it starts with a consonant, consider clusters like bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl.”
