A spirited Siberian husky named Anubis is making waves online after being filmed joyfully pulling his owner, Duncan, on a bicycle through the streets of Coventry, England.

The four-year-old husky, known for his striking blue eyes, has captured the hearts of TikTok users with a video that shows him dashing down a quiet residential road while Duncan struggles to keep up on his bike. The clip, posted on the account @anub1sxx, showcases the dog’s natural instincts for speed and endurance.

Originally bred in the Siberian Arctic around 4,000 years ago for sled pulling, Siberian huskies like Anubis are renowned for their strength and stamina. The American Kennel Club (AKC) highlights these traits, noting their ability to transport light loads over vast distances.

Previously, Duncan tried rollerblading with Anubis, but the lack of brakes proved to be problematic. Now, their bike outings are filled with exhilaration, though Duncan jokingly mentions they often pause for “toilet stops”—an activity that serves as a natural brake.

To enhance Anubis’ comfort during their rides, Duncan invested in a new harness and is considering a proper scooter designed for huskies to further elevate their adventures. He assures that safety is a priority and that they’ve always managed to avoid crowded areas.

Despite some concerns about safety, particularly regarding potential distractions like cats, Duncan reassured fans that Anubis is solely focused on the task at hand. He reminisced about welcoming Anubis into their home four years ago to give his daughter Mia a companion and praised him as a model pet, free from typical mischief.
